From Wool to Wonderful: A Day of Creativity & Community

We had such a lovely time at our recent needle felting workshop, and we just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the day so special.

It was wonderful to see everyone getting stuck in, having a go at something new and enjoying being creative together. There was such a lovely atmosphere in the room, with plenty of smiles, conversations and lots of creativity happening!

A very special thank you to our three amazing volunteers, Nicola, Helen and Nic, who gave up their time to host the workshop and share their skills and love of needle felting with everyone. We really couldn’t have done it without them! 🌟

More Than Just Making Art

For us, these workshops are about so much more than simply making something. They are about giving people a chance to take some time for themselves, try something new and enjoy being around other people.

Creative activities like needle felting can be a great way to switch off from everyday worries and focus on something enjoyable. Sitting down, working with your hands and seeing your creation slowly come together can be really calming and give you a lovely sense of achievement.

We also know that getting out, meeting people and being part of a friendly group can make a real difference to how we feel. For some people, workshops like this can help reduce feelings of loneliness, build confidence and simply provide something positive to look forward to.

It was lovely to see people chatting, encouraging each other, sharing ideas and enjoying the experience together. Sometimes, having a few hours where you can relax, laugh and be creative with others is exactly what we need.

Thank You for Making It Special

Thank you to everyone who joined us, whether you were already experienced with crafts or had never tried needle felting before. We hope you left feeling proud of what you created and, most importantly, feeling good!

We’re already looking forward to our next art workshop and would love for you to join us.

Our September Collaborative Art Project is now open for registration, so come along, get creative and spend some time with us.
