September Art Workshop 2026
Theme: Collaboration "One Image, Many Parts"

Led by our art volunteer Helen, this free three-hour creative workshop* will bring participants together to create a large collaborative piece of artwork, with each person contributing their own individual section to a much bigger image.
Participants will be encouraged to explore their creativity in a relaxed, welcoming and supportive environment.
Each person will be given a section of the overall artwork to design and create, allowing them the freedom to express themselves through colour, pattern, imagery and personal interpretation.
As the workshop progresses, the individual sections will come together to form one larger, connected artwork. The finished piece will represent the creativity and contribution of everyone involved, demonstrating how individual voices and ideas can come together to create something meaningful as a community.
The workshop is designed to encourage connection, creativity, self-expression and a sense of belonging. No previous artistic experience is required, and participants can take part at their own pace.
At the end of the three-hour session, the completed artwork will be brought together and displayed as a finished collaborative piece. With participants' agreement, the artwork can then be displayed on behalf of GIVE in an appropriate community venue or other public space, helping to celebrate the participants' creativity and showcase the charity's work.
The project provides an opportunity for participants to not only create something together, but to leave a lasting visual representation of their collective contribution to the community.
