At GIVE, we believe that no one should have to face life's challenges alone. A friendly conversation, a listening ear, or simply knowing someone cares can make a world of difference to a person's mental health and wellbeing.
That's why we're delighted to invite you to the official launch of our Befriending Service—a new initiative designed to bring people together, reduce loneliness, and create stronger, more connected communities across Surrey.
You're Invited!
📅 Saturday 25th July 2026🕧 12:30pm – 1:30pm📍 Dramatize Community Centre, The Vyne, Knaphill, GU21 2SP
Whether you've been involved with GIVE for years or are hearing about us for the first time, we'd love to welcome you.

🤝 Meet our volunteers, trustees and participants and hear first-hand how GIVE is helping people improve their wellbeing through walking groups, creative arts and now befriending.
💙 Find out more about our new Befriending Service and discover how you can access support or become a volunteer.
Why Befriending Matters
Loneliness and social isolation affect thousands of people across our communities and can have a significant impact on both mental and physical health. Our Befriending Service has been created to offer meaningful companionship, supportive conversations and regular social connection for those who need it most.
Whether someone has recently experienced a major life change, is living alone, or simply feels disconnected from others, our trained volunteers will provide a friendly, compassionate presence to help people feel seen, heard and valued.
Building Stronger Communities Together
At GIVE, everything we do is centred around community. From our volunteer-led walking groups and creative arts projects to our new befriending service, our aim is simple—to create welcoming spaces where people can connect, build confidence and improve their wellbeing.
This launch marks an exciting new chapter for GIVE, and we'd love for you to be part of it.
Bring a friend, enjoy a slice of cake, admire some inspiring artwork and discover how, together, we can make our community a little kinder and a little more connected.
We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday 25th July!
