This Mental Health Awareness Week (12–18 May), we’re joining organisations across the UK to shine a spotlight on the vital role COMMUNITY plays in supporting mental health and wellbeing.

At GIVE, community is at the heart of everything we do. Based here in Surrey, we know how much of a difference it makes when people feel connected, heard and supported. That’s why we organise regular group walks and activities where people can come together, build friendships and feel a sense of belonging.

The 2025 theme reminds us that we are not alone in our struggles. Whether it’s a gentle walk through Surrey’s green spaces, a shared cup of tea after a local group session, or simply knowing someone is there to listen - these moments of connection can be life changing.

Mental Health Awareness Week is a chance to reflect, reach out and reconnect. If you're feeling isolated, overwhelmed or just in need of a friendly face, we’re here for you. Everyone deserves a place to feel welcome.

Why not join a walk this week? Let’s come together and make mental health a community priority.
