In June there are more than 16 hours of daylight in each day. The sun rises at around 4.45am and sets after 9pm. Giving us plenty of time to get outside and soak up some vitamin D.

So, it’s surprising that a survey conducted a few summers ago revealed that Brits spend 22 hours a day indoors. That’s about 90% of our time!

The thing is, sunlight is good for us. Whether in summer or winter. It helps our sleep, mood, concentration and our overall wellbeing.

If you spend a lot of your time inside, taking a break outside changes your environment and can help get you moving, shift your mindset, expose your senses to different smells, sights and sounds.

Right now, there’s more daylight than at any other time of year. Why not take advantage!
