Mental Health Awareness Week

Hi everyone


This week is Mental Health Awareness Week. While we should strive to be open and honest about how we feel every day, this week provides a platform to open up to others, have those conversations, and promote understanding. All humans, during our lifetimes will go through a period(s) where our mental health has suffered, and this is important to remember. While the other may not understand your particular journey, they will empathise with you. You are not alone in this. The best thing one can do about improving how they feel (besides going out for a walk in nature) and sleep, is to talk to someone they feel comfortable doing so with.

And as our Trustee pointed out-

the theme for Mental Health Awareness Week this year is movement, which ties in beautifully to the benefits that we know we get from the walks and being outside in nature x
