Afternoon all,
It was today, four years ago that I formed the Knaphill St John's & Brookwood Volunteers Support Group as news about impending Covid-19 and a possible lockdown in the UK got closer and closer.
Through this period, we won community awards, were nominated for a few more and got recognition for the work we did during covid which was unexpected but amazing.
The group eventually evolved into a MH and well-being charity, now Give. www.givesurrey.org
Happy 4th anniversary all. None of this would be possible without a wonderful community of volunteers who have actively given, and continue to give their time to others.
