Art Projects

GIVE is proud to have wrapped up our third Art Project recently - a vibrant, four-week journey of creativity, connection, and community.

Under the expert guidance of art tutors Meredyth Eve (Project 1) Sunita Khedekar (Projects 2 and 3), participants came together in a safe, supportive, and fully accessible space to explore art as a means of self-expression and emotional wellbeing.

Over the course of the projects, we celebrated three themes:

  • Project 1: Community – We kicked off with artwork inspired by the power of togetherness, reflecting the voices and experience within our group.

  • Project 2: Mandala Art – A calming and meditative experience, participants explored symmetry, colour, and pattern to create their own stunning mandalas, tapping into mindfulness through art.

  • Project 3: Easter – To close the project, we embraced the joy and renewal of the season, crafting Easter-themed pieces full of colour, warmth, and creativity.

Whether participants were seasoned artists or just beginning their creative journey, each person brought something special to the group. More than just an art course, this project fostered genuine friendships, reduced feelings of loneliness and reminded us all of the healing power of community and creativity.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for future projects as we continue to grow, create and connect, together.

Stay tuned for future projects with GIVE!

FEEDBACK

Feedback is essential to charities because it helps them improve their services, ensuring they meet the real needs of the people they support. By gathering honest input, charities can adapt their work to stay relevant and impactful, making the best use of their resources. Feedback also supports funding efforts, providing valuable evidence for reports and grant applications. Ultimately, it fosters a culture of learning, helping us to grow, innovate and continuously improve.
