Discover the joy of creativity with our four-week Birdhouse Painting course, led by experienced art tutor Sunita Khedekar.

Designed as a relaxing spring nature workshop, this course offers the perfect opportunity to paint and decorate your own vibrant wooden birdhouse—no prior painting experience required.

Creative activities such as painting are known to reduce stress, enhance focus, and elevate mood. Throughout the course, you’ll be guided to experiment with bright colours and imaginative patterns, enjoying a fun and mindful artistic experience.

This welcoming group workshop fosters relaxation, self-expression, and social connection, supporting positive mental health and overall wellbeing—all while creating a beautiful piece for your garden.

Each weekly session runs for two hours and begins with a short, calming meditation. Please note there will be a one-week break during the course.*

*Subject to acceptance.

SUNITA KHEDEKAR
Artist & Tutor

Sunita studied Applied Arts and Fine Arts at Asia’s premier art school, Sir J.J Institute of Applied Art in Mumbai. Sunita relocated to the UK in 1999 and has concentrated on painting, inspired by the beautiful English landscape, the symmetrical architectural style and the seasonal change of hues all around her, combined with her nostalgia of India.

Whilst living in the UK, Sunita has taken part in more than 25 art shows, as well as having her work promoted and displayed in art galleries. Besides her own work, Sunita also runs art classes for children and adults; some of her students’ work was selected for a CRY Child Right & You publication. In April 2017, she hosted the first art exhibition of her talented students.
