Led by art tutor Sunita Khedekar, this course has been specifically crafted to boost mental wellbeing, combat loneliness and foster creativity. Held in a safe and supportive setting, the course is designed to be fully inclusive. Whether you are a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, we welcome you to join us*!
The theme of the 4 week course is Windows of Expression. Participants are invited to explore self-expression by looking both inward and outward — reflecting on the inner self while connecting with the world around. Inspired by the idea of a window, it encourages creating personal expressions that reflect both inner feelings and outer experiences.
The project will run for 2 hours each week, starting with a few minutes of meditation. Please note there is a 1 week break during the course.
*Subject to acceptance.

SUNITA KHEDEKAR
Artist & Tutor
Sunita studied Applied Arts and Fine Arts at Asia’s premier art school, Sir J.J Institute of Applied Art in Mumbai. Sunita relocated to the UK in 1999 and has concentrated on painting, inspired by the beautiful English landscape, the symmetrical architectural style and the seasonal change of hues all around her, combined with her nostalgia of India.
Whilst living in the UK, Sunita has taken part in more than 25 art shows, as well as having her work promoted and displayed in art galleries. Besides her own work, Sunita also runs art classes for children and adults; some of her students’ work was selected for a CRY Child Right & You publication. In April 2017, she hosted the first art exhibition of her talented students.
